Hi, I'm Jackie, and I'm honored to have you here!
A little bit about me:
My wonderful husband of 22 years and I are blessed with 4 amazing kids, now ranging in age from 12-21. We are also founders of Wiebe Evangelism, which includes an outreach offering free support and resources to qualifying moms.
My first three babies were born in a hospital, and the last at a birth center. Having personally experienced both of these settings has been very instrumental in coming to understand what makes birth work well and be enjoyable and what doesn't.

I was certified as a birth doula with Childbirth International in 2017, and have attended home, birth center, and hospital births, including 3 vaginal breech births, unassisted, and VBAC, with a gestation range of 36-43 weeks.​​ I believe it should be a mother's choice where she wants to give birth, and I support that choice even if it's not the same one I would make. While I support birth in any setting, my personal skill set and expertise leans toward holistic, undisturbed birth.
I am also the author of Birth in the Eden Environment, a book written to help women achieve Eden-like birth experiences that are free of fear and full of peace and joy.
My view on birth is rooted in the belief that women are divinely designed to not only be well capable of giving birth, but also to be able to actually enjoy the experience, free of fear or trauma. This requires a whole-person approach that agrees with original design in spirit, soul, and body. Embracing timeless, effective, and wholesome practices--from nutrition and diet to healthy, loving relationships and community, emotional well-being, and faith--is key to seeing optimal outcomes.​​

Birth in the Eden Environment lays out God's original design and intent for birth, which in a nutshell is birth without fear. "I am so blessed to have had Jackie as my doula in April of 2017. She is a dear friend and sister in Christ whom I looked to for spiritual and physical support before and during my labor. This was one of the verses that I meditated on the most when I was pregnant and especially during those last couple of weeks. When I needed reassurance during the last days of my pregnancy Jackie was just a phone call or text away and was so encouraging. She supported me in my decisions, cried and laughed with me, and most importantly, prayed with me. She came to the birthing center as soon as I knew I was in labor and was a source of peace and strength to me during my labor and delivery. I know that God placed her in my life at exactly the right time and I am ever so thankful that he did! This birth was one that I had always dreamed of and Jackie was a key part of it! I highly recommend her doula services!"
